The McMahan Foundation Supports Affordable Housing Efforts

The Catherine L. and Robert O. McMahan Foundation has made a grant award to LandWatch Monterey County, to assist LandWatch with its work on affordable housing. Executive Director Gary Patton has expressed the sincere appreciation of the LandWatch Board of Directors for the confidence placed in LandWatch by the Foundation. The McMahan Foundation will wind up its local grant making activity this year, and LandWatch Monterey County is privileged and honored to be one of the groups receiving a “final grant” from the Foundation. LandWatch has played a key role on affordable housing policy, especially in the City of Salinas and on the former Fort Ord. More work needs to be done, and the McMahan Foundation grant will make it possible!
