Fred Keeley to speak in Salinas
Former Assemblymember for the 27th Assembly district and current Treasurer of Santa Cruz County Fred Keeley will speak on local sustainability issues. Invited by the 1000 Friends of Carr Lake and the Watershed Institute of CSUMB, Mr. Keeley will speak on June 19 at 7 p.m. at the Sherwood Hall Community Center at 940 N. Main Street in Salinas.

LANDWATCH MONTEREY COUNTY CELEBRATES ITS 10TH YEAR
A festive crowd of over 250 supporters filled the Grand Ballroom at the Monterey Hyatt Regency on November 9th to celebrate the tenth anniversary of LandWatch. The event was a way for LandWatch members and friends to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of the organization over the years.
